projector headlights

Heyo, great choice!
They fit well but if your car isnt lowered then you are going to have some problems with the way the beam points. Infact I dont think it matters on the ride height at all. My mustang was stock height when I put them on and the low beams point almost streight down (About 10ft infront of the car) and the high beams can bring down a CHOPPER!!!
I dont know of any way to raise or lower the beams individually, I moved the entire peice up and down but one beam is affectly adversly from the other. Also an upgrade in lightbulbs from the stock ones they supply is highly recomended, they are VERY dim lights.
All in All its a great product, I paid almost $300 for my Crystal ones with Blue projectors. Another thing, the halo may be brighter or dimmer then others that you may see, I dont know why but they are just like that. Mine are dimmer then most other.
Well I hope that I have helped, its worth the money for the look, Its an A+++ in appearance, a C- in functionality and a B+ for ease of install.
Good luck.

There is definatly a way to adjust them and its really easy Depends on the year you have on how you do it the 99 and up is so simple you just turn the little rod sticking up from behind the light. You never had them adjust your headlights when you get a sticker??Those aftermarket lights are the cheapest pieces of crap they always get water in them and haze over fast.I'm saying this from experiance get the ford cobra ones if any cause there very nice quality and last. How is a headlight that fills with water an awesome mod???That sounds like wasted money to me
IMO opimion you'll be alot happier with HIDS in a nice diamond cut light like the cobras. The bulbs for the hid kits come to any size and will fit anything.I have purple HIDs in my 99 and its sick.I have them aimed up alittle and everyone flashes me thinking my high beams are on.I have HID in all my cars and when I get in other peoples car I always think the headlights arent on cause its so dim with halogen. In the rain is the biggest difference its awesome

I dont think 99Saleen is using projectors. Most people use them with their stock headlights. They range from 5300k which is a light whitish blue all the way to 12000k which is a medium blue-purple color. I have seen them all the way up to 30000k but wouldnt recommend them because of them being very illegal.
I would never put those projecters in my car they suck!I have stock headlights with 12k HID and there sick!Honestly like I said above the aftermarket lights are so cheaply made its pathetic. The HIDs have come way down in price now you can buy them for 225 when before they were 500.Id say screw the 160 for projectors and get HIDs for the stock headlights, trust me youll love it.There is no high beams on them but you dont need it.The only way you can have highs is if you have two separate bulbs which stangs dont. The hardest part is getting a sticker I just unplug the hids and put a stock bulb in the housing it takes a couple of minutes(99 and up are very easy to remove ther headlights) and then put the hids back in when i get home. The hid kit are just plug and play its very simple takes less than an hour to do the hardest part is mounting the ballast
I prefer the HIDs in clear lights rather than the stock smoked ones I have, but like you said most aftermarket lights are junk which tend to leak. To anyone considering HID conversion kits be sure to get one that uses relays. The wiring harnesses in some kits do not use them as a cost saving measure....very foolish.
The new kit I just got doesnt have to have a power and ground run to them like all the others I bought which makes the install way nicer it just plugs in the old harness and youre all set.Its a very nice set up.These lights draw 100 percent less power than a stock halogen bulb which is nice to if you have a stereo cause seeing the bulbs are gas now not a filament they dont dim at all when the bass hits
Personally, I dont care what you feel about them as you dont care what I feel about them.
I have had them for almost a year now and they work great, look awesome and havnt faded or even so much as gotten a scratch on them yet, the only problem I have with them is the bulbs, and that can be fixed.
The whole moisture thing was condensation, ANY composite headlight can get condensation in it. Mine happened to get it worse because there was a small opening where the front plastic met the backing, but I solved that with some sylicone.
Why not do what I am doing and just get them and then make them HID's? I already have my ballists and wiring, just gotta find the right bulbs.
I think these headlights make the car stand out and make it have more personality, so many people are running around with the same **** on their cars and its just nice to have something different ya know?

Finding the right bulbs for them, that's the hard part. There is also one issue with using HID bulbs for the bright lights. HID systems are not made to be turned on/off frequently as is the case when you are using high beams. Some OEM systems get around this by having a shield which opens/closes over the high beam bulb, which is always on as long as the headlights are on.
