Electric fan with or without A/C
Getting ready to do the electric fan thing and I've learned alot by searching the topic. One thing I can't figure is the Proform is $139 with built in thermostat. The other one I was looking at is $329 and the only difference I see in the 2 is that one has an A/c relay and the other doesn't.
My question is do you NEED the A/C relay? Won't the fan keep the car cool just with the built in thermostat? This is a daily driver and will probably never get over 325 HP.
Thanks for any info.

The a/c relay just turns the fan on whenever you turn the a/c on. When you turn the a/c on, you need air moving through the grill of the car to cool the condenser. This is especially nice when you are sitting in traffic.
