I'm curious as to know if the rear end out of a Crown Victoria is the same as one from a Mustang. I've heard that the Crown Vic rear end is longer than the Mustang one. I've also heard that the Crown Vic has different mounting points which is not a concern for me as they will be cut off and replaced anyway.

I just need to know if the diffs and axle tubes are the same. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

its longer and the mounting point's are different.


IIRC, the springs ride right above the axle tubes on the vics.

once its bare with every thing cut off(brackets and ends) its pretty much the same. unless they have the 3.5 tubes like the explorers do
