I have been putting in super (the middle kind of gas...I think they call that "super"??) since I got my GT 2 years ago, but recently I read the manual which said to put in regular gas. I've accidently put in regular gas a few times and my engine sounds awful (knocks, pings, etc.). I guess the owner's manual is stock for V6, V8, GT500, etc? Dealer told me nothing. Go figure.

What kind of gas does everybody put in their cars?

I run 87 in mine, occasionally use octane booster. I used to run 93 now and then, but now regular costs as much as 93 did

regular pump gas is a gamble either way but i use 93 regardless! if they water it down atleast i have watered down 93 instead of watered down 87 lol!

I have a Steeda 93 tune so I don't have a choice now. Before than, I ran regular with no problems.

If they water it down, you have a shot fuel system and a lawsuit.

Regular grade pump gas should work fine in any more-or-less-stock Stang. If yours is knocking or pinging with regular grade then you might have carbon build-up in your combustion chamber that needs to be cleaned out. But it also depends on how you drive the car and stuff like how hot it is where you live..

Maybe run some Sea Foam through.

exactly and that is also why they make water removers too, cause it happens more than you like to admit!
