So today my physics professor gave me a gift. I talk cars with this guy nonstop. He's got a 77 black Trans Am Bandit. Anyhow, he gave me these today and said these were vintage chrome suspension lifts. Does anyone know exactly what they're actually called?

 

Kinda look like long leaf spring shackels but it's hard to tell with nothing for size reference.

LOL! Yeah, I would say they are leaf spring shackels.

 

Yea, those are spring shackles, (I've used them before). No use to anyone with a modern car. Only good on older cars with leaf springs. Put them away and save them for when you need to fab up a strong brace for something.

 

buy a classic car and shackle that b*tch up is what he is tring to tell you
