I have a 1984 mustang convertable with 4 lug ,was woundering if i could put 2004 front spindles on it . Would there be any clearance issues?would be using the wheels from the 04 as well.

 

Your wheels will be sticking out about 3/4 inch, 99-up spindles are not the best, they can work depending on tire size, but I would use 94-98 spindles, the 96-98 are a tad wider then 94-95 too, but have a good bumpsteer solution, my buddy runs 96 spindles with 17x8 98 Cobra wheels with 275's on 89 LX, only rubs if he cuts the wheel all the way, looks good and no bumpsteer.
