Default purge valve

What exactly does a purge valve do? i have heard it "cleans" the nitrous path and i have also heard it does something to check if youtr nitrous is working correctly. I know many people just have it to be cool, but whaat does it actually do?[sm=dontgetit.gif]

Default RE: purge valve

This is the definition I found for you on the computer: To remove (impurities and other elements) by or as if by cleansing. It just gets all the air out of the nitrous lines, so you are ready to race.

^^^ that and it is used when you have too much bottle pressure, it also comes in handy when you need to take the bottle out and want to bleed the lines of any pressure. It is not as important as some people make it out to be though.
