Default Mustang Drive Shafts

My 1993 mustang gt's drive shaft is way out of round and i would like to install a different, better one. Does anyone know what years before or after mustangs drive shafts will fit my car. I want to go to a junkyard to get a different one but im not aware of what all different years will fit mine.
Thanks
Kyle

At a minimum, 87 - 93 will fit but why bother with the junkyard.

So many Mustang owners have switched to aluminum shafts, the market is flooded with good used steel driveshafts.

With that said, unless this is just a beater, you should consider switching to aluminum too. Besides the upfront cost, there is no disadvantage in running one. It will be smooth, improve acceleration and slightly improve mileage. In the long haul it's probably easier on your transmission output shaft and pinion bearing.
