wow...well i know what ur talking about. my trans am has a filter breather on it and thats how a lot of hot rod engines are.

guys hes not trying to plug up the pcv hole he wants a filter on it to clean it up or a working oil separator, you can go the way of the small filter they have those at autozone and it just slides in like the pcv does. they do tend to get clogged with oil after a while because of the oil vapor in the air going through. i wash my one on the trans am out every now and then. i rigged up an oil separator on my cobra not to long ago and it catches quite a bit of oil. this will keep the top of the intake fairly clean. what i have done is out a piece of lofa (those things your gf washes her self with) and that give the oil something to "grab onto" and collect. If everything is hooked up right then you should be collecting sumthing..

Good luck

heres the separator write up i follwed

if your not running boost, just leave the pcv valve and hoses alone.

yeah im running boost, so what the plan is to get the catch can with the filter on top, remove the pcv valve from the drivers side and pass side if they both have one, take a hose from the drivers side valve cover and put it on one side of the catch can, take the pass side hose and connect that to the other side of the catch can, then take the plug from the air plenum out that had the hose going to the pass side and cap that plug off, also clamp the hose valve that is coming off the intake of the sc.Is this the way it goes or am i missing anything, thanks
