Default need advice on lowering

I have had my 2000 gt for about a year and a half and I am just starting to put some money back into it. I plan on getting it lowered this summer and get a cobra front end next summer. Just wondering if I could lower it 2 inches and still be ok next summer when I put the cobra front end on.

As you can see my car is preety low. I even bought the Cobra spoiler (lip) that goes under the bumper. Eventhough it sits low I just take it real easy over speed bumps.. You'll be ok..
