Airbag removal
I never actually messed with a stang, won't be messing with mine for a long time, it's too nice for that. But on fords it is generally involves removing the glove box, then unscrewing the air bag and pulling it out.
You would disconnect the battery first. It's too easy to overlook that, then the bag pops in your face and your head jumps up against the rear windshield, or worse bag explodes inside your dash, leaving an expensive mess.

Well I finally got around to scanning the airbag removal section of my manual. Its for a 1998 Mustang but the airbags are the same. I've removed airbags from 99+ mustangs the same way. If you need to know how to remove the airbag computers or locate them just ask. Heres how to remove it.

Anybody have a shot of what the passenger side airbag compartment looks like without the airbag? i think something is wrong with mine looks kinda bent and i need something to compare it to. thanks
Dont forget to remove the glovebox. Makes life a lot easier. Not sure what you think is bent but unless your car had been in a crazy front end crash wherer the dashboard wash crushed nothing should be bent.
