I have a 87 GT. I have been thinkn of installing a computer chip on her. It cost about 240.00 and says 30 hp can be gained. I"ve already installed a cold air intake and 70mm throttle body and egr spacer plate, along with under drive pulleys and 4:10 gears. I"ve also been wanting to install a upper and lower intake that matches my tb (BB@K) it cost 620.00. what one would you guys do first? Any suggestions are greatly welcomed! Thanks men!

 

I don't trust Jet chips. My friend installed one on his Dakota. It changed the horsepower, I saw it with my own eyes. According to the Dynojet he lost 5 hp.

 

buy a $10 timing light and bump your base timing up to 13* and youll get the same hp gain as you would from that chip.....guaranty it
