Default 03 Toyota Camry problems...

Well, I don't normally post about this car, seeing as it's pretty lame, but we need help with it. It's a 2003 Toyota Camry LE with a couple of problems. It seems the alignment is off and the A/C is non-functional, even after numerous charges.

Every time the vehicle goes over 60mph, the car begins to shake and rattle, which I think may be an alignment issue. As far as the AC goes, I believe it might be an electrical problem, because we've charged it with freon at least twice. If anyone has a solution or a TSB on these two items I'd greatly appreciate it.

Damn imports.

for the shake issue.....you can't assume it's alignment, vibrations as such, first thing I look for is a tire out of round...ie ruptured cord, flat spot, ect ect, bent rim, tire balance, ect ect, those are the first things to check.....as for a/c , charged it twice??? are you sure there is freon in the system?? if you've had to charge it twice = leak = may have a gross leak now....first thing to do is hook up a set of manifold gauges and read high and low side pressures...have you done that???? if so what is the static pressure = a/c off and at rest....little or no static pressure = low or no charge......also if the system has a full charge, when set to a/c function is the compressor coming on??

oh ya, meant to add that ya it could be the wheel/tire is out of balance. I had a weight fall off and it was causing a similar shaking of the car
