Default Can I Pressure Wash A Radiator?

Finally after getting yelled at by my friends for wanting to wash all my engine parts in the kitchen sink, and get every car part squeeky clean, I thought I came accross a part they wouldn't mind me getting wett, the radiator. Well even now I may be wrong as people tell me I should not pressure wash the radiator becauce I may damage the fins. So what's the verdict can I pressure wash a radiator or not?

By the way this is a radiator I picked up off of Craigslist for $20 bucks I know it's not a Mustang radiator, but it will work in the engine test stand, for extra credit can you guess what it is off of? Circa 1971.

My pressure washer would bend every fin to the point it is no longer usable! I would highly recommend you don't do that!

Agree you probably will damage it using a pressure washer.

I'd get a plastic storage tub if you don't already have one and soak it for a good day in some decent cleaner/de-greaser and then attack it with a stiff brush. (Don't think I'd use a wire brush though...Nothing hard enough to bend the fins). Just make sure the inside especially gets rinsed out really well.

I'll guess a Ford Maverick.

That's putting it nicely. The one I have would blast holes in it like a Bruce Willis shoot out.

The fins are to weak to withstand a good power wash, also it looks like a chevy set up on the radiator.
