Electronic issues
Alright, well I'm hoping someone can figure this out because no one seems to be able to. Last year the fuel pump (along with a module) went out on my car. They were both replaced an the car ran fine. About 6 months later (right now) the fuel pump and module went out again. Fixed those up. Ran again. Then the alternator went out. Put a new one in, ran for awhile, went out again. Just put the third alternator in today and it started up but I went to drive and it died. Now it's acting like it has fuel pump problems again. What in the world could be causing this to happen?

Well, new alternator is up and running perfect as of yesterday. Finally got the car to start. Ran it about 2 hours and in between that I'd shut it off and try turning it on and it'd start up fine. Now that it's the next morning i try starting it and wah lah, turns over and keeps turning and if it starts I can't give it gas or it kills it, if I don't give it kills itself. Now it doesn't seem to be the alternator. But seeing as these problems have all been hailing so close in time to each other, could something be causing these parts to go bad? (fuel pump, module, alternator) could a short ruin all these?

I don't know what else to say, except take it to a different mechanic this time! Make sure they find the CAUSE of the problem, instead of just fixing the problem.
A short shouldn't ruin those because you have a fuse.... I'm lost.

Well, it was finally fixed. What happened was when the new module was put on they didn't tighten the ground enough and it would cause it to work sometimes and sometimes not work. That's why it seemed to be the fuel pump. Thank you for the input though everyone, much appreciated.

I hope "they" are going to reimburse you for all those alternators.
