Default Do I need a clear coat?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a set of the agent 47 mirrors for my car. These are the generation 1 version that didn't come ready to install. They needed prep and paint before install. So yesterday i went ahead and sanded them down and painted them with 2 coats of Krylon Fusion. They actually came out looking real nice, I'm pretty happy with the results.

My question though is, do I need to spray them with a coat of clear as well? I assume it would add some extra strenght and protection in addition to making them a little shinier?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yes, if you haven't already, go ahead and put some clear on them. It's easy and nothing but good can come from it.

You can put clear coat on, it will make life easier on you since the clear coat also protects the paint.

However, if you choose not to put clear coat on, just constantly wax it to put some sort of protection over the paint.

Like the others have said...clear coat them and it will protect the color paint underneath and add more gloss to the paint as well.....all cars these days have base coat and clear coat!...post some pics too!
