My girl just bought a 2002 GT that came with a Ford factory vehicle security system and a special fob. When you hold down the blue button on the fob, the car cranks, but doesnt fire, and then stops cranking. If you get in the car now and try to start it, it will crank but not fire. If you hold the blue button again, the car exits out of the remote start mode, and you can start it like normal.

Any ideas of what I should check first? The box that says Ford Vehicle Security System is located underneath the dash, easily accesible, but looks like one of the wires is missing to it. Ill go take a picture and show you guys which one isnt connected.
