My question is i upgraded to a holly 255lph pump for upgrades to come, di i have to swap out the stock fuel pressure unit and fuel filter now or can it wait for the winter when the upgrades come. (injectors, throttle body, mass air etc.)

Cool

I meant fuel pressure regulator not fuel pressure unit. This what happens when you are playing with the car and running in to check the computer.

You shouldn't need to replace the filter or the pressure regulator. Your fuel setup is a return system, which means that any extra fuel will be returned to the tank, since the injectors and regulator will only let a certain amount of fuel through. Some guys have used the 255 units on 4 cyl engines, so your 5.0 should be fine.
