I have an S197, and I am surprised that when I lift the hood up at night, the hood does not have a built-in under hood light.

I needed to do this one night because the electricity was out in my neighborhood, and to pass the time until power came back on, I decided to go to the garage and just do a routine check on my car. Stuff like visually checking the tire pressures, checking the oil level, topping off the wiper fluid, making sure the radiator had enough antifreeze, etc.

Since it was night, I could not do any of these. If I had an under hood light, I could have at least checked the oil, brake fluid, antifreeze, etc.


Now my point: Is there an aftermarket LED light that we can buy to mount on the undersides of our hoods so that when you lift the hood, it comes on?

And I don't mean one of those light bar under hood lights,
