Default Free Running or Interference engine

I'm seriously considering an '11 Mustang Vert and I have two questions.

1) Is the engine Free Running or Interference...??

2) Is it a timing chain or Timing belt.....??

Interference. I don't think anyone has made free running engines since the 70's or 80's. You either have to have low compression from huge dished pistons, or pitiful cam profiles to h ave a free running engine.

And they're a timing chain I believe. Not 100% certain on this one though.
