looking to buy another stang
Well guys im throwing the idea around about buying another mustang, basically I want whatever is going to preform the best with the most potential, which is the best platform? 4v, 3v, 2v? old pushrod 5.0? I am looking to buy anything for under $20K or so. Miles are not an issue, although I would like to start off fresh (stock) I figure you guys would know which stang I should look into. Just let me know! Thanks! (I like all body styles) just want the best performance.

what kind do you have now? you could probably find a 05-08 in that price range...if you wanted to go a little older, the 04's are really nice as we all know lol, and you could more than likely find one at a low price and dump a couple grand worth of mods into it

right now I have a trans am ws6 and I really like it, heads/cam bolt ons....id like to make whatever mustang I buy as fast or faster. Is it possible to make a 3v faster than a H/C LS1 with just like 5-10 grand in mods?

okay well here are my choices as of right now....with around about prices.
03/04 cobra for $18K (leaving 2K for mods)
03/04 Mach 1 $12K (8K for mods)
99-04 GT for $8K (12K left for mods)
05-08 GT for $14K (6K left for mods)

If your willing to spend 5-10grand on mods then you should get the body style you like the best, buy a sweet crate motor to drop in and build up the suspension. Then you'd have a mean mustang. Just my opinion.

The cheapest one with the new Coyote engine dropped in it would be ummm.... scary fast... A buddy of mine bought a coyote engine from a wreck and is putting it in a miata haha... Now that thing will haul...
