Traction Control problem.
Traction control also uses sensors on the FRONT wheels too, not just the rear wheels. The front wheel sensors tell the computer how fast the car is moving, and if the rear sensors say the car is moving faster then it knows you're having wheel spin. How else would it know?
The tire shop probably knocked one of the FRONT sensors loose..
& why are you keeping the store name a secret?

ok well then my first post wasnt me being stupid. i seem to remember cliffy saying something about if the front and rear tires are horribly mismatched in size, it will trigger TC. what are the sizes of your front and rear tires?

I was keeping it a secret due to.. well, myself being silly in retrospect.
I just felt it better not to needless smear the places name if this was truly a fluke or something.(I guess)
But--
I took the car in Monday, they gave me problems saying how they couldn't have possibly done anything to it, I was nice and eventually they put it up the lift.
30 seconds after they put it on the lift, they came back and told me they would call me when it was fixed.
---
Now, that problem is fixed, but, my parking break now is sticking on / not going fully off(started the second I got it back from them). I'm just going to look at it myself this weekend / take it to my regular mechanic.
