hey guys

anyone know of a good muffler for side exhust. I saw that spintech has a bolt on kit that is perfect but i have those on my '66 and on my '94 cobra it would be WAY too loud. it is already loud and im just afraid id bolt it up and have my eardrums blown out the second i start the car.....its pretty loud now and it's dynomatted.

a kit would be perfect but if i just have to cob something up thats fine. i ran around on borla and dynomax and havnt seen any inlet and outlet on the same side for mufflers. ive also found some sound clips online but they all seem like crap quality videos or just dont have specs of what the mufflers are they are running. thank guys

 

roush sells the mufflers for $195 each, and they also sell the side exhaust tips that work with their skirts for $198 each, but thats outrageous. im sure it wouldnt be that hard to have an exhaust shop fab up some pipes that would work for you. it seems like noone makes the full side exhaust kits for our cars anymore. here is a link to the mufflers

Roush (Magnaflows) are a step down in volume from the Spin Techs.

Spin Tech sells a couple different styles with various 'volumes' due to baffle design. I run the 333SCS on my white car and it's not too bad.

What mid pipe are you running? That will really have a big impact on how loud it is over all.
