I could use some help
I am 17, I don't know much about cars, just a tad bit more than the average 17 year old who thinks they know alot about cars. I just got home, from a stupid night. My friends were saying "Dude peel out" And I was like nah, and eventually I gave in, so I did and I went sideways, straightened it out, turned at the stop light out of second, hammered it, not thinking "Oh yeah its 20 degrees out and my tires are cold" then it went to the right, I straightened it then it went left, then as I was straightening it out, It started to spin out of control, I put the clutch it, eased into the break but it was too late I was heading for a credit union, I managed to slow down to about 5 miles an hour of impact, broke two big windows, no damage to my car... so I thought. After the cops gave me a ticket, since I didnt hit and run, they let me off, I started to back out. I hear a loud thump thump thump, and my tie rods were practically shot before, now every time my wheel makes one full rotation it thuds, and its now flat. I dont know if I ****ed my drivers side axle up, wether its my tie rods completely shot or what. Also now it pulls hard to the left, I limped it home at about 5 miles an hour. If I let go of the wheel it swerves to the left instantly. Please help
Where exactly did your car hit? Like did a wheel slam up against a curb? You mentioned bad tie rods and your axle in the same sentence, but those two items are at completely opposite ends of the car. If the front wheel slammed against a curb or something, then yes, you need new tie rods at a minimum. By the way your car is pulling you probably need that anyway. If the rear got slammed, you probably bent a control arm.
Good call not bailing from the scene, banks always have cameras an felony charges suck. That must have been fun explaining the situation to the cops, but now you know not to listen to your dumbass friends when they bait you into doing stupid ****.

it was worse that you didn't hit the curb head on you know. you need to take it to a tire shop and have the alignment checked and they will give you a full report on what needs work. then you can work a few months at the local hamburger shop and get it fixed.
