1994 v6 AC Hose Question!
My grandpa insists that instead of just taking my car to the shop to get a new hose put on, we put it on ourselves... It's nice to save money and all but neither of us have any idea where the hose is in the engine. We know the tool we need to take the hose off at least, so that's a start.
Any images or diagrams that'll help out? Would be greatly appreciated.

My advice is to take it and have it repaired by someone who knows what they are doing. If memory serves me, in 1994 they were still putting 12 refrigerant in. If your car has not been converted from 12 to 134a it will need to be. You can not buy 12 so don't even look for it. The refrigerant at the store you can buy is 134a. If it has been converted, then not only are you going to need the a/c hose which you say is bad, you will need a vacuum pump to remove all the air and moisture from the system once you open it. I recommend changing all the seals due to their age. I recommend a set of manifold guages, and you will also need refrigerant. You will also need to obtain a t&p chart to charge it to the correct amount. This is a little more involved then just changing a hose. Not to say you can't do it. Your a/c hoses are the hoses that are rubber and aluminum tubing crimp connected together. Good luck

A/C is the only part of my rides that I don't touch. Its messy, you need special expensive tools (e.g. evacuator pump etc) and you can easily screw it up (e.g. letting air or moisture into the system). I'd take it in.
