Default '86 LX 3.8L - computer module needed?

Hi - I posted quite a few months ago re: poor running/hesitation, etc. on my car. My mechanic has done everything he can think of (total tune-up, replaced O2 sensors, new catalytic converters, etc.), but after running it for about 10 mins., it still revs high, down low until stalling, unless the accelerator has been pressed to keep it running. He's been looking for a computer module, as this is his last resort, but to no avail. Can't even get one through the Ford dealership! Does anyone know of a Mustang parts supplier here in Canada (Toronto area)? I haven't been able to drive her since last year, and we finally had the best summer for driving a convertible, and I couldn't do it! The car only has 94,000km on it, and I don't want to give it up to a junk yard yet!!!!!!

Any help or suggestions gladly received.

Did you try your local autoparts store? Try here www.car-part.com I looked and there are a few in Canada. You can search the U.S. also because most salvage yards will ship parts to your door. Looks like you will need to get the part # of your computer though.
