HELP msd distributor & ignitiion

HELP msd distributor & ignitiion
i have a msd 8584 distributor, has two wires coming out #1-black with orange #2 black with green. i have a msd 6 ignition which has two wires, green and violet. ok. i have NO harness or plugs to connect them together so i have to make my own harness. does the black and green go to the green on the igniton box or the other way??? thank you
