Default Aftermarket Clutch Upgrade

Howdy, This is my first post here.

I have a 1994 Mustang GT (5.0) convertable with manual transmission.

I loan this car to my sister for about 2 years and just got it back a few days ago. She told me she recently had the clutch replaced.

When I drive the car, the clutch travel is very long and hard. This makes driving less enjoyable and my left feet very sore in stop and go traffic.

Can someone recommand a aftermarket clutch kit and a short throw shifter to go with it? Something quick and soft like those Japanese cars.

Thanks... Nick

Clutch on my 01 stang with 16k miles feels really hard. I had sore foot the first several weeks of using it. Now it's ok, but still compared to other clutches this one is stiff. Does that mean I had clutch replaced or someone just modified the spring? Why?

Yeah, I know Ford and most American cars have stiff clutch and long shifter throws compaired to japanese cars.

Will an aftermarket "Adjustable" Clutche kit allow me to make the clutch action shorter and softer??

By the way, Robo. Many exotics like ferarri and mclaren have very stiff clutch. Why? I have no clue, but there must be something in it. If it hurts give it two weeks. I'm loving it now, it's pretty easy to shift, the car is a dream in traffic, I'm always in the right gear. Though I'll be putting MGW shifter pretty soon.
