Default Anyone cut just their front springs?

Has anyone cut just their front stock or after market lowering springs to make the front end sit and look lower than the back? Even just slightly. What year car and how did you like it over all? Likes/pros? Dislikes/cons?

Yes people have, but it's not the correct way. Cutting the coils causes them to wear out faster and changes their spring rate. If you want a different ride height, get a different spring.

I really don't see them wearing out fast enough to even notice a difference if you were to cut a small portion off. I'm talking just enough so that when you're looking at the car you can tell the front is sitting lower than the back. Like a slight drag stance.

If you want to cut the stock springs just a little in the front, then you should be fine. Real problems start to arise when guys start cutting too much, or try to cut their progressive rate lowering springs. Like mentioned above, it's really not the correct or best way, but you're only talking a tiny bit off the front.

BTW, i see H&R Super Sports in your signature. What's up with that?

It will change the camber big time. If you're going to do it, do it right. Your tires will burn out very quickly because the weight of the car will be concentrated on one section of the tire.

Okay i'm a little confused as to why you're even asking then. You asking about cutting aftermarket or stock springs, but you already have aftermarket springs that you don't plan on cutting lol. Are you just asking to ask...no particular reason?? Or do you plan on some different springs that you might want to cut?? I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, i just don't understand where you're coming from.

I never said anything about my car...did I? I was asking in general and for something else. I wanna know how it rides, performs, etc. What's wrong with that?
