I just bought an '06 Convertible V6 and new to the Mustang world (and loving every second of it) and noticed that the chrome on the rims of the center vents are bubbling. I think the detail guy used a compound that may have caused this, but can I remove the rims and replace them without having to remove the shaker500 to get to the screws to remove the entire vent? Thanks. Sorry for a novice question, but that's what I am. I love my stang!

 

You should be able to pull the vents straight out, if I'm thinking the same thing you are. I pull mine out every now and then to clean them
