Default How much Should I pay?

How much should I pay for a 06 Ford Mustang 4.0 V6 Standard Coupe? The used dealership is selling it for $12,588. What do you think is a fair price to offer that they would consider.

Would they take around $11,000-$11,500 or is that too low?

The mileage is only 49,651 with a clean car report. Before it was sold to the dealership it had these done

Air filter replaced
Computer reprogrammed
Engine oil system flushed
Oil and filter changed chassis lubricated
Pre-delivery inspection completed
Front wiper blades/refills replaced

Is computer reprogrammed or any of these all normal? or nothing to worry about

i think thats not a bad price, kbb says retail is 14k the computer was probably tuned before they sold it to the dealer and thats why they reprogrammed it. but i would defiantly ask for a carfax report.

i would offer them 11,000 and see what they say. worst thing that can happen is they say no. im sure they have some room to move in that price.

Looked up NADA for you and High Retail is $13,650 and low trade in is $8825. In between that if the body is in good shape is where you need to be.

I bought my '05 4.0 "Deluxe" in '09 with 34,000 for $10,600. That one's a bit on the high side

it's not a bad price, but they probably have a little room to move on the price

For reference I bought my 06 GT Premium with 39k on the clock for $12,900 but I may have just gotten a sweet deal I have seen V6's go for around 10k or so, so I'd try and talk them down
