Needing to know if a 98 3.8L V6 will fit in the 96 frame and hook up correctly to all the accessories etc?

Blown head gasket and pretty sure one of the heads are cracked. The best engine I have found for the 96 is a 98 engine.

More Info: The 96 frame also had a 3.8l V6. Looking to get the same engine out of the 98 Mustang and do an equal swap. Are they the same??? Not wanting to upgrade, trying to keep the costs low. Read many posts about upgrade swaps. The 98 mustang has 80K and appears to be kept better than the 96 mustangs that have V6's with 160k + miles.

You should be fine, as far as I know there's no major differences between 96-98, so it should be pretty much a plug n play.
