Jacking up your mustang
Ahh, I wish I had a post like this available today! I never had to jack up a unibody, I'm an idiot. And I looked down there for a good half and hour but didn't find anything safe to put the jack on. This topic should be made a sticky.

Yep, good places to put the jack. I never use the lamo 'Under the door frame body moulding notch' that is shown for spare tire changes. [:'(]
Add: I dont' agree with supporting the car by the rear axle though.

That's actually the frame of the car. They are hollow but it does not damage them to put the jack or jack stands there. I usually put the jack or stands just behind or over the first hole (closest to the engine). Any further back, you could bend your floor pan or to have the car improperly balanced to work under.
