Default 5.0 vs 4.6

I have a question i wans a sn 95 bodystyle stang to mod instead of my sixer but which is better for those years the 4.6 or the 5.0 i hear the 5.0 is cheaper and easier to work on why is that and is the power difference a big issue on those

5.0 is a push rod engine, 4.6 is an overhead cam engine. 5.0 is easier to work on, it is very cheap, a lot of stuff is available for 5.0. 4.6 has superiour power band and more torque.

I'd say the 5.0 is a pretty bullet proof engine, they are better for the holeshot and hp gains are awesome with H/C/I swap. The 96-98 4.6 aren't that fast, but the 99-04s are pushing more power than a 5.0. But with the money that you would save on buying the 5.0 you could make it faster than a stock 4.6. The 5.0's just react better with mods.
