Well i am having a really hard time starting my 1982 2.3L it wont go i filled the tank, replaced the solenoid, ignition wires, spark plugs, battery, and distibutor cap and rotor. still just doesnt want to kick over all it does is shake. what is going on???? if none of this is gunna work i am getting a new coil. then if that dont work wiring harness unless there is an easier way. plz help me as fast as we can.

 

is it trying to fire or just cranking?

can you hear the fuel pump running? you might have a clogged fuel filter.

check those and your coil also.
