Ok, im converting my v6 to true duals. The mid pipes size is 2.5. I want to get a 3" borla exhaust. Will this work, or will i have to get a smaller muffler inlet/outlet. And what size tips should i get for the mufflers

 

If you really want 3", I'd do just tips. Keep the exhaust piping to 2.5" up to the mufflers. Go too big and you'll lose power on a V6.

 

Larger diameter might sound better/louder, but you might loose back pressure.

+1 on the larger tips instead. The muffler(s) will match up to the 2.5" diameter on one end but usually have a larger tip anyway.
