Default Cylinder Head Removal

I have a 95 gt. I plan on having the heads port and polished. I dont have a garage to store the car in while the engine is exposed and i was wondering if there is something i should do to keep moisture/bugs from getting at the cylinders. I dont know if i should just wait till i can find a garage to put the car in to work on it.

Just spray alittle WD-40 on the cyl. walls and cover the engine with a clean towel. It should be fine unless you let it get wet or it sits for months. Bugs won't hurt it

So you're taking the engine completely out or leaving it in? When I left my engine in my car I put a towel over it, then put a garbage bag over that.
