Does a 03 V6 get better MPG than V8
Hi, new here to the forums.
I'm looking at getting a sonic blue 03' base mustang v6
I'm wondering what the MPG difference would be over say a 00 GT/Cobra etc.

Depends on how you drive it. I can't say for those years, but my buddy with an 06 V6 gets only 1 MPG better than me, at most and I have an 05 GT.

2-3 mpg is about standard difference between V6 and GT.
But most of that is if auto, manual and how you drive it.

I bought my 4.0 6er thinking I'd be getting a lot better mileage than the GTs... Not the case

In my 94 V6 auto, I got 24mpg, in my 96 GT 5 speed, I got 24mpg. No big difference.

Drive it right (and don't mod it wrong) and you'll do much better. My 2000 V6 does great on the highway - best I've seen is 34, usually see at least 32.
