they make bell housing that should fit, your looking at about $2500-3000 in parts. Honestly I have a T-56 and almost never use 6th gear. Unless you drive on the interstate for hours on end it is not a practical swap.

Traffic averages 70 to 80 MPG where I live, that's 2000 to 2500 rpm in 5th gear, I could use some more overdrive!

Another thing. How the hell did you get this numbers?

Code:
272 hp @ 5250
 312 lb-ft of torque @3900 rpms
 E.T. 13.512 @ 104.14 MPH off the bottle

Is that power and ET on juice or motor? I know you don't have a supercharger yet.

Advanced adapters I bet has something to make it work but like JD said I never use 6th gear even on the highway I find myself cruising in fifth and sometimes forget there is even a sixth. Its kinda funny acually when people are in my car I'll be cruising for a while on the highway in fifth and shift to sixth and my friends will look at me with a stupid face like what did you just do???6th gear baby!!!!it is good for fuel milage thou but it tends to chug unless im going over 70 mph

If moneys not a problem why not buy a cobra that has a t-56 and is alot easier to mod??Is the motor on a sixer in the same place as a gt??

Yup I only shift into 6th at 75 mph or above, my car has around 400 rwhp and it lugs down bad at any lower speed. IMO it's not worth the money and hassle to do the swap.

It requires a modified cross member, a shorter driveshaft, and I believe it adds weight to your car.

One other thing to know is that the Camaro/Firebird has a very high (numericly low) first gear, I would not condifer using one as a doner unless you change out the gear ratios.
