they make bell housing that should fit, your looking at about $2500-3000 in parts. Honestly I have a T-56 and almost never use 6th gear. Unless you drive on the interstate for hours on end it is not a practical swap.
i drive 90 miles to and from work everyday. money won't be a problem.

If moneys not a problem why not buy a cobra that has a t-56 and is alot easier to mod??Is the motor on a sixer in the same place as a gt??
because i drive 90 miles to and from work every day. i get around 350-400 miles on a tank of gas. a guy at my work, who has a modded cobra, drives the same distance and gets less than 275 miles per tank. and when i am done with this car a cobra won't have a chance.

Another thing. How the hell did you get this numbers?

Code:
272 hp @ 5250
 312 lb-ft of torque @3900 rpms
 E.T. 13.512 @ 104.14 MPH off the bottle

Is that power and ET on juice or motor? I know you don't have a supercharger yet.
on the motor. it is rated at the crank, though.

Yea, ok. Your sig says you have a 2002 Mustang V6. Are those numbers for V6? What did you do to it?

Good luck with "A cobra won't have a chance". Be sure to show us the size of the turbos you plan on adding and some info on how you'll get the 3.8 to be strong enough to handle it.

a v6 with a good tune can run up to 18 PSI. try that on GT and watch it go boom. Bazz Clark from Marrietta, GA has a v6 with around 1100 rwhp with twin turbos, but he is a pyscho.

i am getting a forged 4.2 stroker kit with 10:1 pistons, .050" overbore, SSX stage 3+ hi-po power pack with sheetmetal manifold. that alone should make around 325 rwhp. once i get that i am getting a twin-turbo kit with either two Garrett GT30BB ball bearing turbos or two Caterpillar T6RAS Ball Bearing turbos. put about 16 PSI through two one core micro-coolers then through a 4-core twin entry air-to-air after cooler should put me well over 550 rwhp and 600 ft-lbs of torque. of course i would need supporting mods like suspension, big-*** tires, chassis reinforcement, built 8.8 rear-end, and a 3 inch exhaust.
