Default Gear Swap write-up...

I did a search on the forum, but I couldnt find the info I needed...

Does anyone have a write-up (or link) on how to swap gears? I've got a 2005 GT, but since it's a Ford 8.8, I figure it'd be the same as any other 8.8...

Thanks!

Gear swaps are not really that hard but do require some special tools and knowlage to right. For couple hundred bucks for the install most people farm this out to a shop. I am sure there is a write up somwhere out there though, or try your local Barnes & Noble.

Thumbs up on doing it yourself! If installed improperly they won't last long, if you do it yourself you'd have that fuzzi warm feeling that it been done right. Too many people rely on performance shops too much.
