dude quit asking and go race. anything can happen on the street. dont let these ppl fool you any thing is possible. the average driver cant drive his car to its limits. especailly since its financed. ppl are afraid to beat on the new ones since it dealer wont warrently things like bent valves. the is only one way to run a car and its to its fullest than backoff jsut a tad.<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"> the average new GT has a hard time getting out of the 14s.

THE REASON I ASKED IS BECAUSE I HAVE BOTH AND I OBVIOUSLY CAN'T RACE MYSELF AND I DON'T LET ANYONE TOUCH MY CARS. IM TO IN LOVE WITH THE BOTH OF THEM BUT WHEN DRIVING THE 01' IT FEELS LIKE IT HAS ALOT MORE POWER BUT THAT COULD BE BECAUSE I SENT IT OUT TO CALIFORNIA AND THE COMPANY GTR HOOK UP MY CAR. THATS WHERE THE GTR BADGE COMES FROM. LOOK IT UP ONLINE AND NO ITS NOT FAKE IM NOT ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT PUTS ON FAKE BADGES. ITS TRUE THOUGH GTR IS NOT FACTORY BUT IT IS AN UPGRADE. THE COOL THING IS THAT IM ONLY 18 AND I HAVE ALL THIS POWER IN 2 POWER MACHINES. I LOVE BEING ME.

Besides, assuming both drivers are good drivers, the 01 GT would leave the 88 behind.</P>

Besides, assuming both drivers are good drivers, the 01 GT would leave the 88 behind.</p>
and your comparison anything can happen. you never know what will happen. and both cars are 14s cars.

Very true, anything can happen. Considering that everything goes right, the 01 GT is a faster car from the factory, therefor the 01 GT should win providing the proper circumstances for it to do so.
