Shop charges me for six qts shouldn't it only be five? 97 GT

 

They probably used a partial quart...But I believe 5.5 is correct on a 4.6L. I know they had a PSB to increase the oil fill level because of oil starvation issues at extreme angles..at least I vaguely remember reading that somewhere.

 

well they could atleast give me the half qt. some places bag up the half qt and put it in the trunck for you

 

If I paid for 6 qts. and they didn't use it all I'd make sure I got the leftover oil.

 

usually shops have those big bulk cannisters of oil. they should be only charging what they DISPENSE!

 

Pretty gay, why I never go to shops for oil change. It's simple and easy. Just hate dumping the oil away. lol
