I hope I don't have to get under the hood. Ex took all my tools; he didn't even leave me a torque wrench

Another question: how often does the fuel shut-off switch go bad? And is there a way I can test it?
It's funny u mention mouse nest because last winter I had a mouse or something storing food inside my cowl hood and there was mouse droppings all over my intake manifold. It was a bitch to clean.

Yeah, I had a mouse nest one year, in my '99 'vert. Yuk.

So I tried again this weekend. It actually started, coughed and sputtered but definitely spark and fuel. Started twice but sputtered out both times (I didn't give it gas, thought it might be flooded). Now it's back to square one, turns over but won't start. So now I'm thinking oxygen sensor? Or air intake regulator? Or just a fuse??

This car is driving me nuts...
