Default Car Wash

Today I got my car washed, then slaped on a nice coat of sealer/glaze and let it sit for almost 2 hours, then toped it off with a coat of wax. The car looks great! Just figured I would let you all know. What is good for glazing, waxing the car? I used Mothers for both steps 2 and 3 but I'm sure there are better things out there for my black car. Also what is a good spray to get rid of dirt in between waxes? I got some spray detail from black magic and it leaves horrible streak marks all over my car so I dont use it anymore. And last I got some nice wheel cleaner and it really makes those rims look nice. Please share your prefrences and tips so I can better my car. If I get time I will snap some pictures of the car because it really looks slick.

u wash the car your self, or u go to a car wash. the detail spray should work fine you have to wipe it in very good to get rid of the streeks.
make sure you have a clean cloth and not a very dirty car.

I take the car to a car wash near me that is touchless and get a cheap wash, then I hand dry it on their lot right away. After that I bring it home and do the seal/glaze, and wax all by hand giving it time to dry. I spend alot of time with the last two steps so it is quicker, and easier for me not to wash by hand. I will wash by hand if it is really dirty, but I tend to wash it almost every week. That black magic stuff so far sucks but I will try it again this week and see if I can get it to work.

dont you get dirt on the way home and then when you wax the car you scratch it?

btw, ive seen a few people up north that leave the wax on their car and drive around with it.

I live right down the street so it doesn't get dirty. Also I wouldn't rub my car with dirt on it, I would clean it up a little pre glaze. Anyone have product recomondations?

At the shop we use 3M Machine glaze, a black foam pad with a light buff. If the customer details their car we use and reccommend liquid glass after the glaze. If they don't I like Zymoil wax...
