Exclamation $1000 too much?

I bought a 88 gt for $1000 in January and I need to put another $1000 in it to finish it, but I'm getting told by my friends that $1000 is an unreasonable amount of money to put into a car like this. Any advice?

Dont let your friends decide for you, if you want to finish the car do it otherwise pass it along to someone else who will enjoy it and finish it.

They are just jealous, do it. If you are not struggling financially then whats the harm?

1. Get pics up!
2. F**k your friends. It's your car and your project. You do what you feel you want to do.
3. You usually can't find a HALF decent running 88 GT for LESS than $2500. If you only need $2000 to have a good running GT, then you struck out in my opinion. Good work!
