I'm not seeing a way a worn rear end could add ~4 sec to his 0-60.
Meant if the transmission checks out to put the gears in, my mistake.

I know a guy who has done all of my transmission work in the past and he really knows his stuff maybe ill have him check it out and see what he has to say.

I'm goanna go ahead and put the 4.10's in my next mod was going to be a TCI 3,000RPM stall Torque Converter I could have the trans rebuilt at the same the Torque Converter is installed if necessary.

maybe i should just get rid of the car and get a used 2011 :P
Automatic trannies go bad too.

If you're using it as a daily driver I would suggest not using such a high stall, gets annoying after awhile.

i'm curious about the aftermarket throttle body...maybe get your hands on a stocker and see what happens. I assume they were aware of that TB when they sent you the aftermarket tune?

I'd say fuel filter first. Just seems like you're not getting enough juice. (That's assuming that the tranny checks out). Not sure what kind of air filter you would have with that hood, but that could be a problem too believe it or not. One of my guys was complaining his 08 Duramax had no power. He drove it 8000 miles before it threw a code. Turned out he put the air filter in backwards. I wouldn't think that plugs or wires would slow you down four seconds.

P.S. you gotta get that fixed, the minivan that's your DD is your "fast" car right now.

Cats or bad O2 should throw a code. Take off the E-Brake? Sorry, just popped into my head. If it's not the fuel filter, you might have to find a dyno to check your air/fuel mix. Seems like a really odd problem. The miles that are on that car, should have any issues with fuel injection, plugs, wires, etc. I would think if one of the coils had gone bad or something like that, you would hear it running rough at idle.
I'm thinking either you are not getting rid of your air (plugged exhaust) or not getting enough air (air filter checks out). It is possible that you have a plugged cat. I've seen that happen but not often. Perhaps it just isn't plugged enough to throw a code. Sometimes if the exhaust smells like rotten eggs, that will tell you you have a plugged cat or bad 02.

fuel filter isn't bad idea either, but wouldn't think at 43k miles it would be several seconds bad.... i'd install stock tb to see how it performed...maybe with stock tune...

FIXED IT! wile i was having the Ford dealership install the 4.10's i had them check it out i had them replace the fuel filter and spark plugs and turns out my CAI was not installed correctly or was starting to come loose so they re-installed it and put a new Air filter on and i also Used my SCT tuner to return the car to stock and than loaded a new 93 race tune from Bamma tunes for my 4.10's.

Not sure if it was just one of things or all of them but the car runs great now. I did ONE run (trying to take it easy on the gears for the most part till they break in)

I timed it at about 4.8 1/2 seconds but i didint SLAM the gas because ill just burn up the tires (LOVE the 4.10's ^^ ) With the right tires on a good day coul be faster than that.

Here is a video of it. Sorry about the camera its my cell phone. my stopwatch had it right between 4.8 and 4.9 seconds.
Like i said this is the only run ive done with the new 4.10's but ill try and get one up after they break in with a good camera in daylight.
