tranny rumbling?
When i am accelerating, I think my auto tranny is rumbling. It gives a low rumble at about 28 miles per hour and 40 miles per hour. It sounds like my subwoofer is on giving out a low bass note, but it is my car that is making the noise, not my sound system. It only happens when I accelerate slowly, if I floor it, no rumbles can be heard/felt. I am not exactly sure if it is my tranny making the sound, but that is my guess so far.
Any ideas on what the problem could be? I checked all my lugnuts just in case but they are torqued to the right amount. I can't think of anything else.
edit: it's a 95 Mustang Automatic, Base model.

I replaced both of my u-joints, but the shuttering persists. Driveshaft is in good shape.
I haven't tried tranny fluid yet, its a messy thing to do.
The car only shutters when i apply light acceleration, if I coast, there is no shuttering. If I accelerate normally/hard, there is no shuttering. Do you think it is still tranny fluid?

for future reference for people who have the same problem:
the problem was tranny fluid. We took it apart and flushed the tranny fluid. Problem fixed, no stutters, shifts smoother than when I got it. Changing the fluid is easy with a chiltons book, don't waste money for a shop to do it. Worth every minute of your time.
