High rpm lock out

My trans won't go into gear over 5k. Could it be because I put a cable in 6 months ago and never re adjusted after install?

Or do u think shift fork bent or somthin internal?

possibly the synchro or throw out fork/cable if its a manual trans. autos suck and i know nothing about them so cant help you if that what you have.
