Hello all, this is my first post here. I bought my 2011 Mustang Convertible certified pre-owned exactly 3 months and 1 day ago. It is only my second car, and the first I've ever bought myself. It is equipped with illuminated sill plates that change color with the ambient lighting system, however, there are slight cracks on the stainless steel parts of both sides, worse on the passenger side. The passenger side crack has grown since I got it, and now water is leaking under the plate. I've been searching for a replacement, but can't find anything for less than $150 (also they are all in black while my interior is tan, but that is not a problem as I know how to remove the sill plate and separate the stainless steel plate, so I could just swap them out). I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but does anyone know where I can get either tan sill plates, just the stainless steel (illuminated) part, or a slightly better price (even if used)?
